“My GMC Online Enrollment Coach really believed in me, and pushed me to want to do better for myself… One year later, I found myself with a degree and two jobs. I was very quickly able to get myself a new car, put my son in a better school, and eventually buy myself a house. I became an all-around happier and healthier person thanks to GMC Online.”

Program Benefits

The program is designed as a pathway leading to the BAS in Behavioral Health and Human Services. The AAS curriculum maps directly to the prerequisite and lower-division competency expectations of the BAS, ensuring that students who complete the AAS can enter the BAS upper-division coursework without repeating foundational content.  However, not all students who begin the AAS will continue directly to the BAS. The AAS is designed to be a terminal credential with genuine workforce value, allowing students to enter employment after graduation and return for the BAS later as they get field experience, a pattern common among adult learners in Georgia’s human services workforce.
