Entry-level allied health positions are often found in facilities such as hospitals, physicians’ offices, dental offices, chiropractic offices, insurance companies, outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities, and rehabilitation centers.
The Associate of Applied Science in Allied Health Science (AAS) degree program is designed to prepare students for entry positions in health careers or supporting roles. Students may complete this healthcare degree online or in person at one of our seven campuses. This online Allied health program includes liberal arts education in general studies and a focus on the biological sciences. Online Bachelors of Applied Science in Healthcare Management
The Bachelor of Applied Science in Healthcare Management degree program is designed to prepare students for careers in healthcare management and related fields. Students who have earned an Associate of Applied Science degree will have the opportunity to continue their education and prepare for advancement opportunities within their healthcare field of study. The curriculum includes courses that will provide a solid understanding of healthcare management for today’s healthcare industry environment. The program is designed to aid and develop the potential of our graduates to be successful in the field of healthcare management. Students enrolling in this degree program must have a healthcare-related AAS degree.

Online Associates in Biology
Biology is the study of living organisms. GMC’s online Biology program prepares students for baccalaureate degree work in biology at most four-year institutions by developing skills in analysis, critical thinking, project design and completion, as well as scientific writing. GMC’s Associates degree programs are designed with easy transfer of credits to universities in mind.

Online Associates in Pre-Nursing
GMC’s online Associates Pre-Nursing program provides students a liberal arts-based program of study through a foundation in Biology. Online degree completion of the Associates in Pre-Nursing program provides many of the pre-requisites needed for admission, and the easy transfer of college credits, to a nursing program. GMC’s Global Online Leadership College is SACSCOC accredited and has articulation agreements in place with nursing schools throughout the Southeast.
GMC’s Pre-Nursing Program emphasizes a holistic approach to character education and critical thinking. Students with GMC’s Associates in Pre-Nursing degree are well prepared for admission to Registered Nursing (R.N.) programs throughout the state of Georgia and the Southeast. Online Associates in Kinesiology
Kinesiology is the scientific study of human or non-human body movement. Kinesiology addresses physiological, biomechanical, and psychological dynamic principles and mechanisms of movement.
GMC’s online Associates in Kinesiology program prepares students for baccalaureate degree work in Kinesiology/Exercise Science at most four-year institutions with comprehensive basic knowledge of this field. This includes study of anatomy and physiology, energy systems and bioenergetics, biomechanics, planes of motion, muscular contractions, exercise selection and testing, program design, injury identification and rehabilitation protocols, and coach/athlete interactions.
Online degree completion of GMC’s online Kinesiology program prepares students to immediately become personal trainers or fitness instructors.
