We are steadily expanding our online business degree offerings. Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree programs provide opportunities for students who have completed a two-year Associate’s of Applied Science (AAS) degree to continue their studies in an accelerated online bachelor’s degree program. We also offer AAS degree programs that students can earn before seamlessly moving on to complete their BAS degree. Additionally, AAS degree holders can transfer all of their college credits into a four-year BAS curriculum designed to work complimentarily with their Associate’s degree. Our regional accreditation means your credits will transfer anywhere.

Online Associates in Business Administration
The AA and AS in Business Administration programs are designed to provide students with a foundation body of knowledge involving a command of the basic language and skills of the business environment. This education will enable graduates to critically analyze business information and be engaged in business decision-making processes thereby contributing to their professions, communities, and organizations.
Earning an AA or AS degree in business will prepare students for employment opportunities and meet educational requirements for continuation towards a bachelor degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or marketing. Upon completion of this degree, graduates will be able to transfer credits to a 4-year BA or BS degree program in Business Administration. Business degree majors consistently remain in the top ten careers with jobs in marketing, accounting, and finance.

Online Associates of Applied Science in Information Systems & Analytics
Note: The AAS in Information Systems Analytics enables students to move on to earn the BAS in Supervision and Management.
The AAS in Information Systems and Analytics program will educate students in basic technical skills to create, control, and leverage information and data resources of an organization that relates to business intelligence, data mining, and “big data” management, and thereby contribute to the professions, communities, and organizations to which they belong.
Earning an AAS degree in Information Systems and Analytics will prepare students for employment opportunities and meet educational requirements for continuation towards a bachelor of applied science degree in supervision and management. Upon completion of this degree, graduates will be able to transfer credits to a BAS degree program in management or a computer/management information systems-related field of study.
What You Will Learn
Students will be able to design and develop an object-oriented program that uses the Java programming language, the Java Swing framework for its graphical user interface, and uses the Java class library to read and write sequential text files.
Students will be able to design and develop a website that uses Hypertest Markup Language (HTML) for its content, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for its presentation, and JavaScript for its behavior.
Students will be able to utilize MS EXCEL and MS ACCESS to construct models used to evaluate business data.
Students will be able to formulate effective business communications that reflect professionalism and ethics in the business environment.
Students will be able to calculate and interpret descriptive statistics and probabilities.
Students will be able to research and evaluate the role of information systems related to various software applications and technology as business decision-making resources.

GMC’s online Business Management BAS degree program prepares students for leadership roles and management positions within a wide variety of businesses and industries. The curriculum provides students a thorough understanding of organizational leadership and management practices that will help them to be successful leaders in their business environment.
General education course credits as well as technical/occupational course credits from an AAS or AAT degree can be transferred (upon review) towards GMC’s BAS degree requirements. Students enrolling in this degree program must have a business-related management AAS or AAT degree.

GMC’s online Supervision and Management BAS degree program prepares students for supervisory and management roles and positions within a variety of businesses and industries. Students will learn the skills to effectively lead and manage business operations or start a business within their technical field. Graduates will be prepared to seek career opportunities in supervision and middle-management.
