Associates Degree in Technical Studies

We have created the Associate of Applied Science in Technical Studies to provide Military-affiliated students maximal credit transfer to earn your degree as quickly as possible. Not to mention, an AAS degree with us will also allow you to continue your education, and earn a Bachelor of Applied Science, too! The BAS program you’re eligible for will vary depending on the military credits that are provided to us on your JST, or CCAF. To be eligible for this degree program, you must have at least 22.5 credit hours of occupational/technical courses within an accepted MOS. For more information, give us a call to speak with an Enrollment Coach, or submit a request for information.

Cost Per Credit Hour: $174

The annual cost of your degree depends on what credits you begin with, and what your goals are. Cost above includes fees for textbooks and materials.

This program is designed as an alternative pathway into our BAS programs.

It is primarily set-up for military courses that can transfer in as credit, but do not “fit” directly into a specific degree program.

Students can select any qualifying courses that can be used as technical/occupational credits towards a specific BAS program.

This degree is not designed for a specific career path, but once earned, your opportunities are endless!

Program Benefits

Earning an AAS degree in Technical Studies will prepare students for employment opportunities and meet educational requirements for continuation towards a Bachelor of Applied Science. Learn more about BAS degree programs here.

Program Costs

One of our goals is to offer the highest quality college education at some of the most affordable tuition rates. To understand our tuition rates, please visit the Tuition and Fees Basics Page on our website. Keep in mind that total costs for the program will depend not only on tuition rates, but the number of quarter hours students must take in order to complete the degree.  This will include courses both in the core and in the major.
